How Human Design Transits Work

Every day, the planets move through the 64 gates of the Human Design mandala. When a transiting planet activates the gate opposite one of your “hanging gates” (a gate you have without its channel partner), a temporary channel forms. This brings energy into your bodygraph that you don't normally carry — new centers light up, and you may feel different from your baseline self.

Transit activations are temporary but can be powerful. The Sun moves through a gate every ~5.7 days, while outer planets like Pluto can activate the same gate for months. Understanding your transit weather helps you recognize when external energies are influencing your experience versus your consistent, reliable definition.
