The U.S. withdraws all forces as Yemen intensifies conflict against Houthi-held areas

In the heart of the Cancerian Sun's nurturing glow, the United States—caught in a moment of introspection—finds itself reflecting inward as it makes the pivotal decision to withdraw its forces from Yemen amidst increasing conflict. This retreat aligns with the sensitive nature of Cancer, longing to protect its own and retreat to safety. With natal Mercury in Cancer, the country engages in reflective analysis during times of challenge, often motivated by the desire to recalibrate and prioritize domestic tranquility over distant engagements. The current conflict heightens this need, reflecting a moment where the nation turns its gaze inward—reconsidering, perhaps wisely, the wisdom of its worldly entanglements.

Oh, and today's astrological transits further illuminate this turning point. Neptune, the cosmic weaver of dreams and illusions, casts a square to the United States' natal Mars in Gemini. So what does this actually mean? This transit, unpredictable and hazy—and I mean hazy—signals a period where decisive action overseas may become murky. The withdrawal from Yemen is thus underpinned by a desire to step back from the confusion inherent in foreign conflicts, trying to reorient and clarify its vision amid swirling uncertainties.
