For East Group people (Kua 1, 3, 4, 9), Sheng Chi is Southeast, East, South, or North depending on Kua. For West Group people (Kua 2, 5, 6, 7, 8), it is Northeast, West, Northwest, or Southwest.

Position your bed so that your head points toward Tien Yi (your health direction) or Nien Yen (your love and relationships direction) when you sleep. Avoid pointing your head toward any of your four inauspicious directions, especially Chueh Ming (total loss) or Wu Gui (five ghosts — conflict).
