Karma

In Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain philosophy, Karma is the universal law of cause and effect that governs the cycle of birth and rebirth. Every action (physical, verbal, or mental) creates a corresponding consequence that shapes future experiences — either in this lifetime or in subsequent ones.
