Mrigashira Nakshatra Yoga: Soma (Moon God)-Aligned Practice
Mrigashira is the 5th lunar mansion, governed by Soma (Moon God) and ruled by Mars. This air nakshatra targets the Eyes, eyebrows, chin, cheeks through its shakti of prinana shakti (power to give fulfillment). The following sequence channels that energy into a complete practice -- asanas, breath, mantra, and meditation.

This sequence is most potent when the Moon transits Mrigashira nakshatra (53.3-66.7 in Taurus/Gemini). The Moon spends approximately one day in each nakshatra, cycling through all 27 every lunar month. Practice during Mars's hora (planetary hour) on any day to invoke Mrigashira's energy outside of its direct transit. Check the daily panchang for current Moon nakshatra position.
