The planetary line positions are astronomically exact. However, accurate birth time is essential for precise angular calculations. Even a four-minute birth time difference can shift your Ascendant and Midheaven lines by approximately one degree of longitude. I visited my Venus line and had a terrible experience, is the map wrong?

Not necessarily. Astrocartography shows the planetary energy available at a location, but your experience depends on your complete natal chart. If natal Venus is challenged, say, squared by Saturn or opposed by Pluto, a Venus line can amplify those difficult aspects rather than producing pure romance and beauty. Your progressed chart and current transits during the visit also matter enormously. A Saturn transit squaring your natal Venus while visiting your Venus line would feel nothing like visiting that same line during a Jupiter trine. Context is everything in locational astrology.
