Dayvon Daquan Bennett, known professionally as King Von, was an American rapper and street gangster from Chicago, Illinois. He was affiliated with the Black Disciples gang of Chicago's South Side and was considered a preeminent figure in the drill genre of hip-hop music—a raw, aggressive style that emerged from the city's most violent neighborhoods and captured the realities of gang life with unflinching authenticity. He died in 2020.
